Competition Information




As a community we must consider the possibility that COVID-19 will cause complications for our event. If health officials determine that no one should attend large events we will have to make a decision about our Regionals.

Competitors should be aware that the Eligibility Rules has always contained the following statement:

No entry fee will be refunded if the Event cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, act of god, public emergency, strike, thunder and lightning or any other cause beyond the control of the organizers.

It has been edited to include the following:

HOWEVER if, due to Covid-19, health officials advise no large gatherings, the committee reserves the right to cancel regionals and will endeavour to refund as much as possible to competitors (some costs are not recoverable such as judges flights).

To confirm, if the Regionals are canceled because of Covid-19, the Committee will only deduct any non-recoverable expenses and refund as much of the registration fees as possible.


Site prep begins at approximately 8:00 am – crating area and horse stalls will be opened at approximately 11 am -12 am (as soon as we get them stall names up so there is no confusion!)

RV spots are available anytime

Early registration will be available from 4 – 6 pm

All competitors MUST show their AAC height card – if the card is not complete or you do not have your card, you must obtain a measurement on Friday (open for measuring throughout the day as competitors arrive and as judges schedules allow (or Saturday 6:30 – 7:30 am if you are not arriving until then)

We will try to arrange a judge for measuring on Thursday during early registration,



Warm up rounds will start at 8:30 am and run until 4:30 pm. Walk thru starts at 8:00 am

General walk through for both SC at 8:30 am – 9:20 am

First dog on the line at 9:30 am

The rings will be open for the second walk through during the lunch break. PLEASE let us know if you are not going to be there for the morning run (those arriving after the first walk through times, but there for the noon walk through!) If your dog is scheduled to run one of the Steeplechase’s in the morning, there will be a second pass through the running order after the afternoon group finishes.

If you have notified us that you are arriving after 1:15 pm, there will be an addition walk through once the rings are finished the afternoon rotation (approx. 3:24 and 4:18). Only those who have given us advanced notice of late arrival will be in the third walk through.

If at any time you anticipate a conflict, just let the gate know. You are not expected to run dogs back to back, so if you need a few moments, just ask!

MEASURING: 8:00 am by the check-in area. If you are arriving later Friday for the Steeplechase and/or need measuring for Regionals, please let Registration people know that you need a measurement. Please do not leave it to the last moment as our judges will be very busy between judging and measuring for the new height cards!

SOCIAL 4:30 – 6:30 PM

Beer garden will be open, light munchies provided. Come up say hi! Meet the judges and find out what courses were drawn for Regional Events!
